At the conference, representatives of the Can Tho City National Assembly Delegation provided a summary of the expected content and program of the Second Session of the 16th National Assembly; the activities of the Can Tho City National Assembly Delegation since the First Session; and the results of responding to voters' petitions.
Voters in the wards contributed 16 opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly, the Government, and central and local ministries and agencies. These included requests for greater attention to policies and benefits for grassroots-level officials and civil servants; consideration of issues related to the development mechanisms and policies of Can Tho city; planning, land use, investment and infrastructure development; digitalization in the healthcare sector; ensuring the safety of young people online; building and developing digital data infrastructure; appropriate salary and allowance policies for commune-level officials and civil servants, and self-governing groups in residential areas; the shortage of textbooks and regular health check-ups…

Discussing issues of concern to voters, Head of the Central Organization Department Nguyen Duy Ngoc stated that it is necessary to continue improving regulations to ensure the safety of young people in cyberspace. Voter opinions will be taken into account in developing and refining relevant regulations.
Regarding data development, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc stated that this is not only the responsibility of state agencies but also requires the participation of the people. The state plays a pivotal role in building the legal framework, infrastructure, and data sets, including national data and key data of provinces and cities; while also ensuring data security, safety, financial resources, and human resources. For data from paper records, it is necessary to compile, analyze, review, and organize it, prioritizing digitization to incorporate it into data sets according to specific sectors and fields.
Regarding agricultural development, according to Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Vietnam has advantages, but the application of science and technology in production still has limitations. Therefore, it is necessary to continue promoting the application of science and technology, developing processing, improving productivity and quality, and meeting market demands.

Referring to the tasks for the future development of Can Tho city, the Head of the Central Organization Department emphasized that the city needs to continue analyzing and evaluating each sector, clearly identifying advantages to focus on development; at the same time, paying attention to resolving long-standing projects, bringing them into operation soon, and maximizing resources for development. The city needs to continue coordinating with provinces in the region, focusing on key areas, building production plans, ensuring cost-effectiveness, productivity, and quality to meet international market demands...
