On October 6th, the police in Dam Rong 3 commune ( Lam Dong province ) announced that they are verifying the identity of the person who lost the ring in order to return it according to regulations.
At approximately 5 PM on October 4th, while on their way home from school, two students, Nguyen Tien Dung and Truong Gia Bao (both born in 2013), students of Le Hong Phong Primary and Secondary School in Dam Rong 3 commune, found a gift box containing a silver ring.
The two children then took the gift box to the Dam Rong 3 Commune Police Station to hand it over, asking the police to verify its owner and return it.
On October 6th, in Nam Gia Nghia ward, Lieutenant Colonel Y Kham Knul, a police officer of the ward, found a leather wallet containing 900,000 VND and several personal documents during a residence check.
Upon verification, the wallet was identified as belonging to Mr. Pham Xuan Thao. Officer Y Kham Knul returned all the money and documents to Mr. Thao.
These two incidents are commendable acts, demonstrating honesty, responsibility, and a sense of responsibility in protecting people's property.
