According to the People's Committee of Phuong Liet Ward ( Hanoi ), the implementation of the National Highway 1A Spatial Axis Project in the ward affects 14 organizations and 232 households with individual houses.
In addition, the project also affects 3 old 5-story apartment buildings with a total of 195 apartments, 1 old 2-story apartment building with 20 apartments, and approximately 42,667.2m2 of land for transportation managed by the Ward People's Committee.

According to Nguyen Kim Son, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuong Liet Ward, in the coming time, the ward will continue to direct relevant units to fully implement the approved procedures and policies; and at the same time review and propose plans to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of the people in accordance with regulations.
In the first phase, the ward paid compensation to 15 households with a total amount of over 142 billion VND.

To ensure that compensation payments to residents are quick, convenient, and secure, the ward has arranged three payment methods: opening savings accounts at designated banks; transferring funds to registered accounts; or receiving cash. For households receiving cash, the ward police will assist in delivering the money directly to their homes.
The first households to receive compensation.
Arriving early at the compensation payment point, Ms. D. stated that her family's entire house, measuring over 50 square meters, is within the land clearance area. According to the compensation plan, her family will receive approximately 123 million VND per square meter.
According to Ms. D., the project's implementation is a general policy of the State, so her family agrees and complies. After receiving compensation, the family will soon hand over the land. She is currently looking for a rented house to settle down.

Also included in the first compensation payment list, Mr. M. received over 17 billion VND. According to Mr. M., his family's house has an area of over 70 square meters, of which more than 68 square meters are within the designated boundary.
“Initially, I was quite hesitant. After the ward and the project team came to encourage and explain things thoroughly and thoughtfully, we no longer had any concerns and decided to cooperate with the local authorities,” Mr. M shared.
According to Mr. M., with the money received, his family will put it into savings to prepare for building a house on the resettlement land.
