The delegation visited and congratulated Venerable Thich Tang No, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Dharma Chief of the Central Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, President of the Patriotic Monks' Solidarity Association of Can Tho City, Abbot of Khleang Pagoda, and other Venerable monks, abbots, and members of the pagoda's management board; and visited Venerable Ly Duc, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Can Tho City, National Assembly representative of Can Tho City, Abbot of Som Rong Pagoda, and members of the management board.

Venerable Monk Tăng Nô, Abbot of Khleang Pagoda, gave a speech at the visit and gift-giving ceremony.
During his visits, Colonel Nguyen Van Thang cordially inquired about and wished the Venerable Monks, Senior Monks, and Buddhist followers of the Khmer ethnic community a joyful and warm Sene Dolta Festival.

Colonel Nguyen Van Thang highly appreciated the contributions of religious leaders, influential figures, and devout Buddhists in maintaining security and order, and contributing to socio -economic development in the locality. He expressed his hope that in the future, the monks and the temple's management board will continue to play a core role, acting as a nucleus of unity at the grassroots level, propagating and mobilizing people to raise their vigilance against subversive activities by hostile forces that exploit ethnic and religious issues to distort, incite, and sow discord within the national unity.

Representatives from the temples thanked the delegation and stated that they would encourage the Khmer ethnic community to actively engage in production, participate in patriotic emulation movements, maintain and ensure security and order, strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, stabilize their lives, and strive to build a more prosperous and beautiful Can Tho homeland.
