Lam Dong currently has 14 renewable energy projects, some of which have violations related to their implementation in the national titanium mineral reserve area.

These include 6 wind power projects and 8 solar power projects. The projects have a total capacity of 807.15 MW; cover an area of ​​approximately 645.5 hectares; and have a total investment of approximately 28,162 billion VND.

Recently, Lam Dong province has directed its departments, agencies, and localities to review and resolve difficulties regarding documentation and procedures. To date, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has provided feedback on the assessment of the impact of mineral reserves on the projects. For 13 projects, the Ministry has forwarded the dossiers to the localities for consideration and resolution within their authority.

Of these, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue a document approving the impact assessment for 11 projects. The remaining two projects, Thai Hoa and Hoa Thang 1.2, are still undergoing assessment.

During the meeting, the Department of Industry and Trade reported to the provincial People's Committee leaders on the implementation status, difficulties, and obstacles encountered, and proposed solutions to overcome them for renewable energy projects.

The unit also It is proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consider a mechanism for handling projects that have met the requirements for quality and construction safety, but still have some outstanding land procedures that do not affect the quality and safety of the project.

During the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Hong Hai, directly exchanged and discussed with relevant units specific solutions to resolve issues for each project.
