In her opening remarks at the seminar "Solutions to improve the quality of women's organization and membership development at the grassroots level," Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Lam, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province, and Chairwoman of the Gia Lai Provincial Women's Union, emphasized: After the implementation of the two-tiered local government model and the merger of administrative boundaries, the Women's Union's operational area has expanded, managing a more diverse range of women. The needs, living conditions, and methods of connection of modern women have undergone fundamental changes. This reality demands that the Women's Union not only solve the problem of "how to gain more members," but more importantly, "how to make women voluntarily seek out, become attached to, and see the Union as truly practical."

Based on this situation, the delegates attending the seminar focused on discussing and sharing many innovative models for operational methods. Among them, promoting the application of digital transformation was seen as a key solution to reach and serve women in the new space, notably through models such as "digital branches" and "digital families".
