Answering questions from the press at the Miss Vietnam 2026 Finals press conference at Dragon Hill, Hai Phong , Mr. Nguyen Thai An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Youth Union Affairs Department - emphasized that the greatest desire of the Central Youth Union when directing Tien Phong Newspaper to organize the Miss Vietnam competition is to find outstanding representatives for the younger generation.
These representatives must not only be beautiful in physique and appearance, but also beautiful in soul, rich in cultural identity, and possess a desire to contribute.
Nguyen Thai An believes that this aspiration is always present in young people. The important thing is that the competition inspires, guides, and creates conditions for them to develop it.
Looking back at the 38-year journey of Miss Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Thai An believes that the Miss Vietnam competition is not only about honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women, but also plays a role in creating a foundation, helping contestants after the competition to have better conditions to grow, demonstrate their personal abilities and actively contribute to the community and society as a whole.
As a member of the National Steering Committee for the Miss Vietnam 2026 competition, Mr. Nguyen Thai An expressed his wish that all contestants participating in the competition - whether they win high prizes or not - will receive valuable benefits.
“After the competition ends, the contestants will carry with them the spirit of unity and the passionate spirit of Vietnamese youth. They will continue to contribute even more in fields that match their professional abilities, working alongside the Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation to participate in activities that make practical contributions to the community,” he said.
