Identifying the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses as a key task in implementing social welfare policies and sustainable poverty reduction, the commune mobilizes resources and promotes social support for households facing housing difficulties. By 2025, 16 poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households in the commune will receive support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Each completed house will meet the "three solid" criteria (solid foundation, solid frame, solid roof). In 2026, Ta Khoa commune will continue to review housing support needs; 9 out of 14 households are eligible for new house construction and are currently undertaking it; 5 out of 14 households are not yet eligible due to difficulties in matching funds and land availability. The commune is currently processing the allocation and support of 540 million VND to eligible households from various programs, projects, and the provincial "For the Poor" Fund…
In May 2025, the family of Mr. Thào A Vảng, from Tân Tiến village, received support to build a 70 m² house, with a total value of over 260 million VND. Of this amount, he received 60 million VND from the Sơn La province's "For the Poor" fund and 30 million VND from Sơn La College, with the remaining funds contributed by his family, siblings, and relatives.
In his new home, Thào A Vảng emotionally said: "Thanks to the government's financial support for building this house, my family has hired workers and additional help to complete it. Now, we don't have to worry about rain, wind, or cold anymore. With a new house, my family can work and produce with peace of mind. I will strive to overcome poverty in the coming time."

While new houses provide stable housing for the poor, livelihood models open up opportunities for families to improve their economic situation . In 2025, Mr. Ly A Su's family, a poor household in Muong Khoa village, received a breeding cow from the National Target Program 1719. Upon receiving the cow, Mr. Su was delighted: "My family will try our best to care for it so that it can reproduce, providing us with additional income, gradually improving our economy, and helping us escape poverty."

Along with direct support resources for the people, the commune focuses on investing in infrastructure, creating conditions for disadvantaged villages to have a stronger foundation for socio-economic development. From 2025 to the present, the commune has mobilized and allocated more than 22 billion VND from the State budget to maintain and repair 14 infrastructure projects, such as: repairing roads from Tan Tien - Pa Khom - Na Pa villages; from Ta Do - O B; from Khoa - Khoc B villages; repairing water supply facilities in the Bai Tay resettlement area, Nhan Ngoc village, Tan Cuong village; supporting 223 breeding horses, cows and buffaloes for poor and near-poor households in community groups in Hua Nhan, Deo Chen, Muong Khoa villages...
Along with state resources, the Fatherland Front of Ta Khoa commune actively plays a bridging role, mobilizing organizations, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists to join hands in caring for the poor. The "For the Poor" Fund has raised over 1 billion VND; provided 7,860 kg of rice to help 524 households with food shortages during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse; helped 16 households repair or build new houses; coordinated visits and distributed 140 gifts to policy beneficiary families, people with meritorious services, and 470 social welfare recipients; supported households affected by landslides in Suoi Nhan, Chen, Deo Chen, and Muong Khoa villages; donated 10 gifts to disadvantaged students; implemented the "Godmother" program, "Accompanying Children to School," and Mid-Autumn Festival activities…

Mr. Dinh Trung Bung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ta Khoa commune, shared: Every year, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ta Khoa commune proactively coordinates with mass organizations, associations, and village management boards to promote the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on sustainable poverty reduction. Activities such as launching the "Month of intensified efforts for the poor" or mobilizing the "Fund for the Poor" always receive positive responses from agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists.
Beyond simply mobilizing resources, the Fatherland Front of Ta Khoa commune also plays a "bridge" role in delivering support to the right people and meeting their specific needs through practical actions such as providing livelihoods, building and repairing houses, and caring for social welfare. Many emulation movements have spread strongly, notably the "Farmers competing in excellent production and business, uniting to help each other get rich" and "Farmers' shelters" programs of the Farmers' Association; the "Women helping each other develop family economies" program of the Women's Union; and the "Youth volunteers for community life" program of the Youth Union... This coordinated effort has contributed to reducing the poverty rate in Ta Khoa commune according to the new criteria to 18.42% by 2025, a 3% reduction compared to the end of 2024.

To maintain the average poverty reduction rate of 3% per year, in the coming period, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ta Khoa commune will continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of its propaganda work, mobilizing maximum social resources for social welfare. The role of the Fatherland Front as a bridge, combined with the proactive efforts of the people themselves, will contribute to the successful achievement of sustainable poverty reduction goals, bringing prosperity and happiness to the people.
