On October 2nd, the Local Dialogue Round - Vietnam Private Sector Economic Forum 2026 (VPSF 2026) - Vinh Long Province Dialogue Session, themed "Institutional Breakthroughs - Public-Private Partnership," took place, affirming the provincial government's determination to support, resolve difficulties, and expand development resources for the business community.

The event featured numerous presentations and practical contributions aimed at improving the quality and competitiveness of the private sector and strengthening the agricultural value chain linkages in the area.

Attendees included: Mr. Dang Van Chinh - Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Truong Dang Vinh Phuc - Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Finance; Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; and leaders of provincial departments and agencies. Representing the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association were Mr. Phan Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; representatives from the VCCI Mekong Delta Branch; and representatives from various business associations and entrepreneurs in the province.

This forum promotes synergy between the public and private sectors, aiming to remove institutional bottlenecks and unlock resources for production and business. The program brings together representatives from specialized management agencies, organizations, and business leaders, affirming the strong commitment of the provincial political system to supporting the private sector in overcoming difficulties and maximizing its development potential.

The participation of representatives from specialized agencies and business organizations demonstrates their crucial bridging role in promoting trade, connecting consumer markets, and supporting local production forces. The forum provides a space for frank exchange, meeting the practical needs of businesses in the context of increasingly deep economic integration.

During the dialogue session, presentations focused on analyzing key solutions to improve the quality of agricultural products and expand export markets. Delegates discussed in detail solutions to ensure a continuous energy supply for the production and business activities of processing facilities and factories. Ensuring energy security and technical infrastructure plays a crucial role in helping businesses confidently invest long-term, maintain stable supply chains, and meet the stringent standards of export contracts.

The content focusing on improving the operational capacity of cooperative models and strengthening sustainable linkages with businesses in the value chain attracted particular attention. Delegates concentrated their discussions on clarifying opportunities and challenges in developing concentrated raw material areas, increasing processing capacity, connecting to consumer markets, and ensuring resources for production. Strengthening management capacity and production organization for the collective economy is a core foundation that helps farmers and businesses closely connect, share risks, and increase the added value of key agricultural products.

A highlight of the program was the open dialogue session between the business community and government representatives. The dialogue session was designed to be flexible, creating an open space for representatives of private businesses to directly reflect on the difficulties and obstacles arising in their operations. Many specific recommendations related to administrative procedures, land, access to preferential capital, and logistics infrastructure were publicly raised.

Provincial leaders and representatives from specialized agencies acknowledged and addressed concerns, while also fully accepting all proposals and initiatives from the business community. The feedback was compiled and used as a basis for the province to further refine mechanisms and policies, improve the investment and business environment, and create a transparent and equitable legal framework for the development of the private sector.

Speaking at the forum, Mr. Dang Van Chinh emphasized the importance of implementing Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of the private economy. The province identifies the business community and entrepreneurs as a crucial force in the province's socio-economic development.

We are committed to building a proactive, service-oriented government that supports and accompanies businesses; continuing to improve the investment and business environment, accelerating administrative procedure reforms, and promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles. At the same time, we will create favorable conditions for businesses to access resources such as land, capital, infrastructure, human resources, science and technology , and markets.

The province encourages and supports businesses in improving their management capacity, promoting innovation, digital transformation , and green transformation; enhancing productivity, quality, competitiveness, and gradually participating more deeply in value chains. This will leverage the potential and advantages of the locality, create new impetus for growth, and promote the development of the private sector.
