On the afternoon of October 6, 2026, at Facility 2 of the Bao Lac Regional Forestry Department, the Party Branch of the Bao Lac Regional Forestry Department held its regular monthly meeting for October 2026.
Overview of the event
Attending and participating in the meeting were Comrade Ha Ngoc Tu, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union, who was assigned to be in charge of the Bao Lac Commune Party Committee; along with other comrades in the Party Branch Committee and Party members of the Branch. 
In September, the Party Branch focused on leading and directing the implementation of tasks according to Program No. 03-CTr/TU dated November 28, 2025, of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee on protecting and effectively exploiting forest resources in the period 2025–2030. The dissemination of forestry laws was carried out through various forms, linked to patrol and inspection activities, village meetings, and direct communication with the people.
Forest development continues to receive attention, including the implementation of reforestation, replanting, and supplementary planting; the distribution of seedlings and fertilizers to households participating in forest planting; and the review of land resources to encourage people to develop cinnamon, star anise, and medicinal plants under the forest canopy.
Forest management and protection efforts have been strengthened. In September, the total volume of timber harvested from planted forests by households reached 460,318 m³ of cypress wood on an area of 4.59 hectares, and 28,500 bamboo trees were harvested in Huy Giap and Xuan Truong communes; the value of forestry production, mainly from timber from planted forests, reached 994,236,960 VND. The Forest Ranger Station received and is currently processing one report of a crime related to illegal deforestation. Protection of wild and migratory birds was maintained; no violations occurred during the month.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Ha Ngoc Tu acknowledged the serious and responsible spirit of the Party Branch in organizing meetings and carrying out political tasks. He requested the Party Branch to continue to promote its role as a political nucleus, closely monitor the local area, proactively advise the Party Committee and government on forest management, protection, and development; strengthen propaganda and mobilize the people to comply with forestry laws; and coordinate patrols and inspections to promptly detect and handle violations.
The comrade also requested that the Party Branch pay attention to effectively carrying out afforestation and reforestation after logging; strictly control projects that change the purpose of forest land use; continue to review and compile statistics on land resources and improve the economic efficiency of forests in conjunction with protecting natural resources and improving people's lives.
On the occasion of attending the meeting, Comrade Ha Ngoc Tu presented gifts and encouraged the Party Branch of the Bao Lac Forest Ranger Station, demonstrating his concern and support for cadres and party members in carrying out their duties at the grassroots level.
