In Tra Linh commune, the working group surveyed and verified information about the grave of martyr Nguyen Van Thao (or Thao), born in 1960, from Hai Phong , Private First Class, soldier of Company 23, 346th Division. The martyr died on March 6, 1979, while fighting in the Lung Tao hamlet area, Quoc Toan commune, Tra Linh district (formerly), now Ban Quang hamlet, Tra Linh commune. According to information provided by Mr. Sam Van Nho, who directly participated in the fighting, the martyr died in the Thang Vat area, Lung Tao hamlet, while on a reconnaissance mission. Afterwards, Mr. Sam Van Nho and his comrades organized the burial of the martyr in the area near Thang Hen Lake.

In Lung Nam commune, the working group surveyed and verified information about the grave of martyr Gi Van Mon, a militia soldier from Thuong Thon commune, Ha Quang district (formerly), who died on February 22, 1979, while fighting in Lung Pang hamlet, Thuong Thon commune, now Lung Ven hamlet, Lung Nam commune. According to information from relatives, after his death, the martyr was buried by his family at the foot of the mountain in the aforementioned area.
Through field surveys and verification, the working group of the Provincial Military Command continues to compile and finalize information and documents, serving as the basis for implementing the steps to search for, collect, and identify the remains of fallen soldiers according to regulations.
Relatives of fallen soldiers expressed their wish to have the remains of their loved ones collected and buried in a martyrs' cemetery for easier care of the graves, contributing to the effective implementation of the "Gratitude and Remembrance" work.
