The delegation conducted a field survey at the ancestral temple of the goldsmithing craft village in Dinh Cong ward and held a meeting with the ward's People's Committee.
Reporting to the delegation, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dinh Cong Ward, Tran Huu Chuc, stated that the ward has linked the campaign with socio -economic development tasks, promoting propaganda and mobilization among officials, Party members, and the people to prioritize the use of Vietnamese goods. Notably, the ward has leveraged the role of 35 Fatherland Front Working Committees in residential areas, integrating the campaign's propaganda into community activities, people's conferences, Party branch meetings, and mass organization meetings; while also strengthening propaganda through the radio system, website, Fanpage, Zalo OA, and other digital platforms.

The ward organized two conferences to raise awareness about food safety for nearly 500 people; and two livestream programs introducing typical local products and high-quality Vietnamese goods, including products from the Dinh Cong Silver Bean craft village and high-quality Vietnamese rice…
In addition, the ward maintains models such as "Officials, Party members, civil servants, and workers of Dinh Cong ward prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; encourages women's association members to trade goods with clear origins and sources; and integrates the campaign's propaganda into community activities.

Besides the achievements, propaganda work in some areas has not been consistent; the promotion of Vietnamese products, OCOP products, handicraft products, and the application of digital platforms are still uneven... The ward recommends that the city strengthen programs connecting supply and demand, trade fairs, and Vietnamese product weeks; support production facilities and business households in promoting brands, digital transformation , e-commerce, and expanding markets; and at the same time, inspect and control the market, handle counterfeit goods, smuggled goods, and goods of unknown origin.

Furthermore, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dinh Cong Ward, Khuong Quoc Hung, stated that in the first nine months of 2026, the ward basically completed 11 out of 11 targets; total budget revenue was approximately 1,600 billion VND, exceeding the city's assigned target. According to him, the campaign needs to aim for tangible results, ensuring people have access to quality, safe, and traceable goods; businesses and households enhance their responsibility; the market develops healthily; and consumer rights are protected. "Prioritizing Vietnamese goods" does not mean choosing a product in a superficial way, but rather that the product must have quality, reasonable price, suitable design, and be promoted so that consumers know about and choose it.

During the working session, members of the inspection team requested the ward to clarify its work in disseminating information and mobilizing the public; promoting Vietnamese products, OCOP products, and traditional craft products; the participation of production and business establishments; and the application of digital technology . Representatives of the ward's People's Committee acknowledged and addressed the issues raised.

In his concluding remarks, Pham Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, acknowledged that Dinh Cong ward had paid attention to implementing the campaign, consolidating the Steering Committee, assigning clear tasks; diverse propaganda work, linked to food safety, promoting local products, and developing some practical models.
Comrade Pham Anh Tuan suggested that in the coming period, the ward should continue to concretize the policies of the Central Government and the city through appropriate programs and plans; clarify the responsibilities of the Party Committee, the government, the Steering Committee, and the coordination mechanism between the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations; innovate propaganda on digital platforms, social media, and in the community; focus on the quality, brand, and origin of Vietnamese goods, OCOP products, handicraft products, and local specialties.

The ward needs to support businesses, cooperatives, and business households in accessing policies on industrial promotion, science and technology , digital transformation, and trade promotion; strengthen supply-demand connections, e-commerce, traceability, cashless payments, and expand distribution channels for Vietnamese goods.
Comrade Pham Anh Tuan also suggested continuing to promote effective models, selecting exemplary models to build into distinctive models; focusing on restoring and developing the Định Công goldsmithing and silversmithing craft in conjunction with the development of craft villages, tourism, and the night-time economy.
