According to the simulated scenario, at 3 PM on October 4th, a short circuit in apartment A5.26 of My Phuc Apartment Building caused a fire with the risk of spreading to adjacent areas and floors. The fire generated a lot of smoke, toxic gases, high temperatures, limited visibility, and made evacuation and firefighting difficult.

In this hypothetical scenario, at the time of the incident, approximately 300 people were living and working in the apartment building. Among them, two people fell while escaping and one person was trapped on the balcony of floor A5, requiring professional rescue assistance.
Upon discovering the fire, the building's fire department immediately cut off the power to the entire apartment building, deployed firefighting efforts, and guided residents to safety via the stairwells.
After 5 minutes, approximately 80 residents and staff were safely evacuated; evacuation guidance for the remaining floors continued.

According to Ms. Nguyen Phuong Mai, Head of the My Phuc Apartment Building Management Board, organizing regular fire safety drills brings many practical benefits to the building's management and operation. Through the drills, the building's fire safety team is trained in using equipment, directing and guiding residents to safety during emergencies, and coordinating with professional fire fighting forces.
This also serves as an opportunity to test the synchronized operation of the fire alarm system, public address system, fire fighting water pressure, and stairwell pressurization system in case of an emergency. Simultaneously, the drill helps residents and building workers recognize alarm signals, remember emergency exits, thereby becoming more proactive and reducing panic in the event of a real fire.
