Strategic direction: A strong shift from ideas to practical products.
In his opening remarks at the Forum, Mr. Nguyen Mai Duong, Director of the Innovation Department, emphasized that Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo has identified science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation as top priority breakthroughs and the main driving force for national development in the new period.
According to Mr. Nguyen Mai Duong, the 2026 Innovation Festival carries the message "Innovation - The driving force for the development of the whole society," requiring concrete actions, tangible results, and scalable models. This message demands a strong shift from awareness to action, from research to application and commercialization, with socio-economic effectiveness as the highest measure.

Mr. Nguyen Mai Duong, Director of the Innovation Department, delivered the opening remarks at the Forum.
This year's forum focuses on in-depth discussions on three core, closely interconnected pillars:
i) Scientific research and technological development: Focus on artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, increasing the localization rate of strategic technology products and commercializing intellectual property rights.
ii) Innovation: Making businesses truly the core of the ecosystem, closely linking research institutes, universities, investors, and regulatory agencies.
iii) National Digital Transformation: Effectively operate the National Digital Architecture Framework (according to Decision No. 1425/QD-TTg dated July 29, 2026 of the Prime Minister ) to connect data, knowledge and optimize resources.
