The southern part of the city boasts advantages in terms of rivers, lakes, fields, villages, and the sea, along with historical, cultural, culinary , and local product values. Tourism development should exploit these original values to create products and experiences with a unique identity.

The southern region has connecting routes such as National Highway 1, the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway, the Da Nang - Chu Lai coastal road, and National Highway 40B.
