Delegation No. 14 of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council met with voters in Dak Song commune before the end-of-year regular session in 2026.

The delegates included: Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Manh Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Duc An commune (Deputy Head of Delegation Group No. 14); and Kieu Chau Loan, Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, who presided over the meeting.

At the conference, Delegation No. 14 of the Provincial People's Council informed voters about the socio -economic development situation of the province in the first nine months of 2026; the results of the 4th, 5th, and 6th specialized sessions and the expected content and program of the year-end regular session; and also reported on the results of resolving the opinions and recommendations of voters from previous meetings.

Under the direction of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Song commune, local voters submitted nearly 20 opinions and recommendations to the provincial People's Council representatives, focusing on land, infrastructure, social welfare, and production.

Specifically, voters in Dak Song commune requested the removal of obstacles in issuing land use right certificates; investment in and upgrading of the electricity and transportation systems; resolution of issues related to the issuance and purchase of health insurance cards after the commune was approved as a Zone III commune; and the early establishment of regulations and allowances for deputy village heads and some deputy heads of branch associations.

Local voters also requested increased food safety inspections and improved traffic safety in school areas.

Voters suggested strengthening disease prevention and control; inspecting and handling polluting livestock farms; checking food safety and ensuring traffic safety in school areas; considering investment in secondary and high schools or high school branches in the locality…

Leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Dak Song commune, along with representatives from specialized departments and agencies, directly received, explained, and clarified some issues of concern to the voters.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, Luu Van Trung, acknowledged the opinions, suggestions, and feedback from voters in Dak Song commune. He emphasized that these are all practical issues directly related to the lives, rights, and legitimate interests of the local people.

Regarding the proposal to stabilize the lives of free migrants in the forest area managed by Duc Hoa Forestry Company Limited, the Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council stated that the majority of households are living and producing on forest land. While awaiting the completion of the land handover from the management unit to the local authorities, the commune government needs to continue to pay attention to and provide solutions to support and stabilize the lives and production of the people.

Regarding the rate of people participating in health insurance, Comrade Luu Van Trung noted that this is an important target assigned by the province to localities. The fact that Dak Song commune is identified as a Category III commune, facing particularly difficult circumstances, will create favorable conditions for the locality to implement health insurance support policies, making it easier for people to access medical examinations, treatment, and healthcare.

Regarding the proposal to build high schools or open smaller classes within junior high schools in the area, Comrade Luu Van Trung suggested that relevant departments, agencies, and localities should research and assess the actual needs to develop appropriate plans.

First and foremost, localities need to review the number of students, the available facilities, and the learning needs of the people in order to proactively propose solutions and ensure the right to education for students, especially in areas with difficult transportation access.

On the same day, Comrade Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Lam Dong province, visited the CO2 production plant project in Dak Song commune.

Comrade Luu Van Trung welcomed businesses' interest in investing in the locality, thereby effectively exploiting the potential and advantages of raw materials, land, and labor resources, contributing to job creation, increasing people's income, and promoting socio-economic development in the locality.
