On the occasion of the Sene Dolta festival, October 6th, a delegation from the Vinh Long Provincial Border Guard Command, led by Colonel Nguyen Van Trieu, Deputy Political Commissar, visited and extended greetings to the monks at three temples: Bong Sen Temple in Long Thanh commune; Ang-kol Temple and Cai Coi Temple in Long Vinh commune; and several reputable and exemplary Khmer families in the coastal border area.

During his visits, Colonel Nguyen Van Trieu respectfully extended his best wishes to the monks, the Management Board, and all Buddhist followers. On behalf of the Party Committee and the Command of the Provincial Border Guard, Colonel Nguyen Van Trieu respectfully acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity and the sense of responsibility of the Khmer people in the cause of socio-economic development and the protection of maritime border sovereignty .
We hope that the monks and Buddhist followers will continue to uphold the patriotic tradition, preserve the national cultural identity, and always be "extended arms" alongside the provincial Border Guard forces in firmly protecting the sovereignty of the maritime border.
