According to Carscoops, Tata Motors has officially launched its all-new compact sedan, the Tata Aeris, in the Indian market. This model replaces the older Tigor and competes directly with rivals in the sub-4-meter sedan segment such as the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, and Hyundai Aura (Hyundai Grand i10 in India). With a starting price of 5.29 lakh Rupees (approximately 143 million VND) for the standard version and up to 9.19 lakh Rupees (approximately 249 million VND) for the top-of-the-line version, the Tata Aeris promises to be an attractive option at an affordable price. At this price point, the Aeris could even be a viable alternative to luxury scooters like the Honda SH 350i.

In terms of design, the Tata Aeris represents a comprehensive upgrade, switching to the improved X-Alfa platform architecture. Although the overall dimensions haven't changed much compared to the Tigor, the Aeris boasts a more modern appearance with a completely redesigned front end and a seamless, elongated taillight strip at the rear, making the car look wider.
