Specifically, Hanoi University of Education has recently established three additional affiliated schools: the School of Language and Culture; the School of Natural Sciences and Technology; and the School of Humanities.

According to school representatives, the establishment of these affiliated schools is part of the roadmap to develop Hanoi University of Education into a key national university of education, with the mission of training high-quality teachers based on a robust ecosystem of basic science, educational science, and technology.

The establishment of the three new affiliated schools aims to leverage the strengths and academic resources of the units; enhance interdisciplinary collaboration in training, research, and innovation; and create conditions for the formation of academic centers capable of leading in their respective fields.

Specifically, the School of Language and Culture (located at Building V, Hanoi University of Education, 136 Xuan Thuy Street, Cau Giay Ward, Hanoi) is oriented towards pioneering the training and development of high-quality human resources in foreign languages, culture, regional studies, and tourism. The school is also oriented towards developing scientific research and innovation to meet the requirements of educational development, science and technology, and international integration.

The university comprises the following faculties: Faculty of English, Faculty of French, Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, and Faculty of Vietnamese Studies. Along with these specialized faculties, a system of institutes and research centers is established and developed according to practical conditions.

The School of Natural Sciences and Technology (located in Building A1, Hanoi University of Education) is oriented towards pioneering teacher training and developing high-quality human resources in basic research, natural sciences, life sciences, and related fields. The school is also oriented towards developing scientific research, innovation, knowledge and technology transfer, meeting the requirements of national education and training development, science and technology, and digital transformation.

The university comprises the following faculties: Faculty of Physics, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, along with a system of institutes, centers, and laboratories serving training, scientific research, development, and technology transfer.

The Faculty of Humanities (located in Building B, Hanoi University of Education) is a pioneering institution in training and developing high-quality human resources in social sciences and humanities. The faculty is also oriented towards developing scientific research and innovation in the humanities, meeting the requirements of educational and training development. This faculty comprises the Department of Literature, the Department of History, the Department of Geography, the Department of Philosophy, and various research centers.

Thus, to date, Hanoi University of Education has six affiliated schools. Previously, Hanoi University of Education had established three other affiliated schools: the School of Early Childhood Development Science; the School of Educational Science; and the School of Mathematics and Information Technology.
