THACH AN MEDICAL CENTER - ESTABLISHING A TRADE UNION, FOSTERING UNION MEMBERS

On the afternoon of September 29, 2026, the founding congress of the Trade Union of Thach An Medical Center was held with the participation of 119 union members, including officials and employees working at the unit. This is an important milestone, creating a foundation for the officials and employees at the Center to have a representative organization to work together and fulfill their duties. Attending and directing the Congress were Comrade Ngoc Van Phan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Department; Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Khe commune; also present were representatives of the leadership of Thach An Medical Center and delegates, union members, and workers of the unit. At the Congress, the Steering Committee for the Establishment of the Trade Union presented the process of disseminating information and mobilizing officials and employees to voluntarily join the Trade Union; announced the Decision to establish the Trade Union of Thach An Medical Center and the list of union members.
In his address to the Congress, Comrade Ngoc Van Phan congratulated the establishment of the Trade Union of Thach An Medical Center; and requested the new Executive Committee to promptly develop working regulations, work programs, and organize activities suitable to the unit's specific characteristics. In particular, he emphasized the importance of effectively representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; promptly understanding their thoughts and aspirations, fostering unity within the collective; and coordinating with the Center's leadership to effectively carry out professional duties, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare for the people.
On this occasion, Comrade Ngoc Van Phan presented flowers to congratulate the Trade Union of Thach An Medical Center, acknowledging the proactive spirit of union members and workers in building the trade union organization at the unit. The Congress proceeded to elect the Executive Committee of the Thach An Medical Center's grassroots trade union for the 2026-2030 term. The new Executive Committee held its first meeting, carried out the prescribed procedures, and was introduced to the Congress. From its founding milestone, the Trade Union of Thach An Medical Center will gradually build a suitable activity program, focusing on union members and workers, contributing to creating a united and responsible working environment and jointly fulfilling the task of caring for and protecting the health of the people.
