Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee, and Chairman of the City 's Emulation and Commendation Council, presided over the meeting.
After reviewing the dossiers, the City's Emulation and Commendation Council unanimously approved 446 cases that met the criteria and conditions to complete the dossiers for requesting State-level commendations as prescribed.
In addition, the City's Emulation and Commendation Council unanimously approved 116 cases in the dossiers for commendation of socio -economic achievements in 2025. These are cases where the commendation certificates issued by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province (formerly) did not fully reflect the period of outstanding performance to be used as a basis for calculating achievements for the next commendation. After supplementing the dossiers and evidence, these cases were determined to have been assessed by the competent authority as having outstandingly completed their tasks for two consecutive years.
At the meeting, Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen instructed the Standing Agency of the City's Emulation and Commendation Council to finalize the dossiers for the 446 cases that had been voted on and approved, ensuring that all standards and conditions were met before submitting them to the competent authority for consideration as prescribed. For the remaining dossiers, further assessment and consultation with relevant agencies will continue.
