At the program, 42 individuals with outstanding achievements in scientific research, technical innovations, and technology transfer serving agricultural production were honored. These individuals were selected from nominations from 25 provinces, cities, and central agencies, through a two-tiered selection process involving provincial-level councils, ministerial/agency councils, and the Central Appraisal Council.

The individuals honored belong to three main groups: intellectuals and scientists with widely applied research; farmers with inventions and technical solutions that bring practical results; and managers actively involved in transferring and guiding the application of science and technology to farmers.

Deputy Minister Le Xuan Dinh attended and presented awards at the 7th "Scientist for Farmers" Award Ceremony and the 11th National "Technical Innovation for Farmers" Competition in 2026.

Among the 42 scientists selected for the agricultural sector in 2026, 26 hold doctoral degrees and are currently working at leading research institutions and organizations in the agricultural and environmental fields.

Besides the intellectual workforce, many farmers with initiatives stemming from practical production experience have also been recognized. Among them, Mr. Le Loc Quan, owner of Quan Phat honey production facility ( Dong Nai province ), has many innovations in honey processing and beekeeping techniques. Notably, he has successfully researched and developed a product of crystallized honey in granular form, aiming to replace refined sugar in daily consumption.

Mr. Hoang Dinh Que, residing in Tan An ward, Bac Ninh province, was honored for his initiative in managing waste in his pig farm according to circular economy principles. The solution contributes to minimizing environmental impact while simultaneously improving production efficiency at the farm, which generates tens of billions of VND in revenue annually.

Also within the framework of the program, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association awarded prizes for the 11th National "Farmers' Technical Innovation" Competition in 2026. From 83 entries, the organizing committee selected 24 outstanding solutions to award prizes, belonging to 3 groups of fields: Mechanization and processing; Livestock and aquaculture; Crop production, biology and environment.

The first prize in the competition went to Nguyen Manh Hung for his solution: a compact, low-cost honey purification machine suitable for small-scale beekeeping. The device is capable of removing small impurities and bacteria, contributing to improving the quality of honey products.
