After more than a week of competition in 4 out of 11 disciplines, the Vietnamese esports team concluded their journey at ASIAD 20 with two bronze medals in the games NARAKA: Bladepoint and League of Legends.

In the remaining two categories, PUBG Mobile - the Asian Games version - ranked fourth in the continent, while Identity V - the Asian Games version - ranked 9th-10th.

This also marks the first time Vietnamese Esports has won a medal at an Asian Games. Previously, at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou ( China ), the first Games to include Esports as an official medal event, the highest achievement of Vietnamese esports was fourth place in League of Legends, Arena of Valor, and Dream Three Kingdoms 2.

This result is a positive step forward for Vietnamese Esports, showing that Vietnamese athletes are capable of competing for high achievements in top continental competitions.

At the 20th Asian Games, the Vietnamese national esports team consisted of 23 athletes and 6 coaches.

At the 31st and 32nd SEA Games, Vietnamese esports teams won a total of 14 medals, contributing to the overall achievements of the country's sports.
