"Dong Anh Digital Day 2026" brings digital transformation closer to the people.

On October 2nd, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Anh commune organized the "Dong Anh Digital Day 2026" program, in response to the National Digital Transformation Day and the Hanoi City Digital Transformation Day 2026.

Attending the program were leaders from the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung, City Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Anh commune; Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the commune's Party Committee; along with members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Council, leaders of the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune; representatives from agencies, units, schools, businesses, villages, and community digital transformation groups in the area.

Before the program began, delegates had the opportunity to directly experience the "Dong Anh Digital Space," showcasing various products, models, and solutions applying technology to daily life. The experience included VR360, digital historical sites, Dong Hoi VR360, Mach Trang Digital Cultural Center, Co Loa artifacts, digital agricultural products, digital education, digital healthcare, digital economy , and products on the DongAnh Discovery platform. Participating telecommunications and information technology companies also introduced numerous digital products and solutions.

Reporting at the program, Comrade Nguyen Thi Luong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Anh commune, emphasized that in 2026, digital transformation will continue to be one of the important driving forces for innovating governance methods, improving the efficiency of government operations, developing socio-economic aspects, and serving the people even better.

According to Comrade Nguyen Thi Luong, Dong Anh has identified the overarching principle as "Faster, more efficient, and closer to the people digital transformation." Digital transformation is not just about technology, but first and foremost about innovating methods, changing mindsets, and creating concrete, practical results for the people, businesses, and the community.

Over the past period, Dong Anh commune has implemented a comprehensive set of digital transformation tasks, linked with the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, the "Digital Literacy Movement," and the 100-day intensive campaign to implement key digital transformation tasks. Digital skills training and awareness campaigns have been widely implemented; community digital transformation teams and "Digital Literacy Movement" centers are gradually becoming forces directly bringing digital skills to each residential area, household, and individual.

The point emphasized by Comrade Nguyen Thi Luong is that digital transformation is gradually entering daily life and creating real value. People are supported in accessing online public services, using digital utilities, accessing digital skills and information security; business households, small and medium-sized enterprises, and OCOP entities are supported in promotion, market connection, and gradually applying digital solutions in their business operations.

Alongside this, Dong Anh is gradually developing a digital space linked to the distinctive values ​​of the locality. The DongAnh Discovery platform connects culture, heritage, OCOP products, cuisine , tourism, and services in the digital environment, thereby contributing to promoting the image of Dong Anh, spreading cultural values, and expanding opportunities for digital economic development.

Tell the story of Co Loa in the language of the digital age.

The highlight of the program is "Dong Anh Digital Live: Co Loa - Touching the Legend, Living the Essence," a 90-minute program broadcast on the "24h Dong Anh" channel, connecting history, culture, cuisine, and technology. The program is structured into three parts: The Legacy of the Thousand-Year-Old Ancient Citadel; The Essence of Ancient Co Loa Feasts; and Youthful Spirit on Ancient Land - Souvenir Products.

Joining the livestream were People's Artist Trong Trinh as the host; Ms. Nguyen Thi Luong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Anh commune; culinary artist Truong Thi Tuyet Lan; and Le Mai Chi, a citizen of Co Loa village and a student at Co Loa Primary School, representing the young generation of Dong Anh.

The program opened with aerial footage of Co Loa Citadel, Thuong Temple, My Chau Shrine, Hoang Giang River, and the modern appearance of Dong Anh. Through the panel discussion, the story of preserving and promoting the value of the Co Loa National Special Monument was placed in relation to digital technology and the new approach of the younger generation.

During the discussion on the digitization of heritage, Ms. Nguyen Thi Luong stated that the commune has proactively digitized more than 20 artifacts from Co Loa, creating an open data repository to serve schools in organizing interactive online history lessons. She also mentioned the direction of continuing 3D digitization and attaching QR codes with multilingual explanations at historical sites, thereby expanding accessibility and spreading the value of Co Loa in the digital environment.

From the heritage story, the program shifts to the essence of the traditional Co Loa feast, introducing traditional dishes and cultural stories associated with the lives of local people. This is followed by a creative souvenir-making experience, where guests directly paint images related to Co Loa and Dong Anh onto conical hats. This approach creates a connection between tradition and contemporary creativity, while also opening up avenues for developing cultural products for tourism.

Concluding the program, Comrade Nguyen Thi Luong emphasized the development orientation of Dong Anh on the path to a smart and modern city, while always preserving and promoting historical and cultural values. Through digital spaces, stories about Co Loa, local products, and images of the people of Dong Anh are brought closer to residents, tourists, and the online community.
