According to the session agenda, after reviewing matters concerning organizational structure and resolutions within its authority, the People's Council of Bo De Ward will proceed with the process of electing an additional Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bo De Ward, term II, 2026-2031.
After the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee presented the proposal, the Ward People's Council exercised its right to nominate and elect candidates as prescribed. As a result, no delegates nominated or elected additional personnel; the Ward People's Council unanimously agreed on Mr. Vu Trong Thu as the candidate for the position of Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee. The delegates then proceeded to cast their votes by secret ballot as prescribed.
The Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Bo De Ward presented the proposal for personnel nomination.
Representatives of the Bo De Ward People's Council proceeded to vote for the position of Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.
The vote count results were announced at the meeting, confirming that Mr. Vu Trong Thu was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bo De Ward, term II, 2026-2031. The Ward People's Council then proceeded to vote on a resolution confirming the election results; 100% of the delegates present unanimously approved the resolution.
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Vu Trong Thu expressed his sincere gratitude to the ward's People's Council delegates for their trust and confidence in electing him as Vice Chairman of the ward's People's Committee, while emphasizing that this is both an honor and a great responsibility before the Party Committee, the government, and the people of the ward.

Comrade Vu Trong Thu affirmed that he will uphold his political integrity, moral character, and sense of responsibility; strictly abide by the leadership and guidance of the Party Committee and the assignments of the People's Committee of the ward; and maintain unity and cohesion within the leadership team. He emphasized the need to stay close to the grassroots, be close to the people, respect the people, listen to the people, and proactively advise and propose solutions to issues within his assigned field with the highest sense of responsibility.
In his new role, Comrade Vu Trong Thu stated that he will work with the ward's collective to carry out tasks related to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, maintaining order and discipline, and improving the quality of life for the people. He also expressed his hope to continue receiving the leadership and guidance of the Ward Party Committee and People's Committee, the supervision and coordination of the Ward People's Council, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, political and social organizations, the staff and civil servants, and the support and cooperation of the people.

The resolution addresses many important issues regarding organizational structure.
Earlier, at the meeting, the People's Council of Bo De Ward considered, discussed, and passed important resolutions focusing on the organization and operation of the ward government and ensuring resources for task implementation.
Accordingly, the Ward People's Council passed a Resolution promulgating the Regulations on receiving citizens, receiving, classifying, and processing complaints, denunciations, petitions, and feedback sent to the Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council and the Ward People's Council representatives of the second term, 2026-2031. The Regulations aim to standardize the methods and procedures for receiving citizens and processing petitions, and to enhance the responsibility of the Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council, the People's Council Committees, and the People's Council representatives in addressing citizens' concerns.

The People's Council of Bo De Ward also passed a Resolution on reorganizing the specialized departments under the People's Committee of Bo De Ward. Accordingly, the three existing specialized departments will be reorganized into five departments, including: the Office of the People's Council and People's Committee; the Department of Internal Affairs and Justice; the Department of Economy; the Department of Infrastructure, Urban Planning and Environment; and the Department of Culture and Social Affairs . The reorganization aims to clearly define functions and tasks, strengthen specialization, improve the quality of advice and the effectiveness of state management; and at the same time ensure the continuous and smooth operation of the ward government.
In addition, the Ward People's Council passed a resolution on adjusting the staffing quotas for public schools under the Ward People's Committee after the restructuring.

In her closing remarks at the session, Comrade Vu Thi Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Bo De Ward, assessed that after a period of diligent, serious, scientific , and responsible work, the third session had completed all the planned contents and programs. The ward's People's Council delegates focused on studying the documents, discussing, and fully implementing all matters within their authority.

Comrade Vu Thi Thanh emphasized that the adoption of new resolutions is only the first step; the important thing is to organize their serious, synchronized, and timely implementation, bringing the resolutions into life and making them effective in practice.
The comrade requested the People's Committee of the ward to promptly implement the resolution on reorganizing specialized departments, finalize regulations on functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure; review and arrange cadres and civil servants to suit their job positions, while ensuring the handover of tasks, files, data, finances, assets, and necessary conditions for the new apparatus to operate stably and without disrupting the handling of administrative procedures.
