As the 2026 Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival approaches, people in the Khe Coc tea-growing region (Vo Tranh commune, Thai Nguyen province) are completing the final preparations to make the best possible impression on visitors.

Besides focusing on improving tea quality, local people are also gradually expanding agricultural experience activities, bringing tourists closer to the traditional tea-making process.

The tea leaves selected for the Festival are carefully tended and harvested to ensure the strictest requirements for safety, flavor, and color.

The Khe Coc tea growing area (Vo Tranh commune, Thai Nguyen province) is completing its final preparations ahead of the Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival 2026, which will take place at the end of October.

Besides improving product quality, tea-producing facilities in this region are accelerating digital transformation in management and consumption, thereby expanding the e-commerce market and aiming for export.

Visiting Khe Coc during the Festival, tourists can directly pick tender tea buds, experience the traditional tea processing method, and enjoy cups of tea amidst the vast green landscape.

The raw material area is maintained in a way that ensures safe production, linked to the process of caring for, harvesting, and processing tea, with tea batches for the Festival being carefully selected to guarantee product quality.

From an agricultural product, the tea plant is placed in an experiential space so that visitors can learn more about the work of tea makers and the customs associated with the life of tea-growing regions for generations.

In Phu Minh hamlet - the heart of the Khe Coc tea-growing region - preparations for the "Tea Exchange and Appreciation with Special Guests" program are underway with great urgency.

Local residents and authorities are focusing on completing the bridge connecting the residential area to the tea plantation, which has been chosen as the main space for social activities.

The bridge connecting the tea plantations is nearing completion.

The bridge, 20 meters long and 1 meter wide, is solidly constructed with reinforced concrete pillars and sturdy iron beams, ensuring safety and connecting the residential area to the lush green tea plantations.

In particular, the bridge's surface is paved with rustic bamboo, and the railings are harmoniously decorated, creating a sense of closeness to the tea hills and providing an additional stopping point for tourists to admire the scenery and take photos.

Funding for the bridge construction was raised through social mobilization, along with hundreds of man-days contributed by officials and residents of Phu Minh hamlet, helping to complete the project as soon as possible.

This project contributes to expanding access to the tea plantations, creating more space for social activities, tea tasting, and exploring the raw material area during the Festival.

A press conference was held in Hanoi to provide information about the Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival 2026.

At the same time, it helps to integrate the production space into the tourist experience, where visitors can walk around, enjoy tea, and learn about the tea-making craft.

Integrating tea production into tourism experiences also creates a way to tell the story of Thai Nguyen tea culture through the living and working spaces of the local people.

Ahead of the 2026 Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival, the Khe Coc tea growing area is gradually perfecting its visitor-friendly spaces, focusing on connecting products, landscapes, and traditional crafts, and expanding cultural experiences for tourists.

The Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival 2026 will take place from October 30th to November 7th, with the theme "Thai Nguyen - The finest tea," coinciding with the 195th anniversary of the founding of Thai Nguyen province (November 4th, 1831 - November 4th, 2026).

The event comprises 12 main activities focusing on culture, foreign relations, trade, tourism, and tea experiences, aiming to honor the value of tea and promote the development of the tea industry towards high-value, organic, safe, and sustainable practices.
