The People's Committee of Tay Ninh province and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation to improve the investment and business environment and support enterprise development.

On the afternoon of October 6th, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province held a meeting to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day. Attendees included leaders of Tay Ninh province, leaders of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), representatives of foreign business associations in Vietnam, business associations, and the business community in the area.

According to the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, the province currently has more than 37,000 businesses, with a total registered capital of over 960,000 billion VND. The business community makes a significant contribution to economic growth, job creation, tax revenue, and market development.

In the first nine months of 2026, Tay Ninh province's GRDP is estimated to increase by 10.3%, exceeding the set target, ranking first in the Southeast region and tenth nationwide. State budget revenue reached nearly 52,000 billion VND, equivalent to 97.6% of the central government's allocated budget. The province also focused on accelerating the progress of key connecting transportation projects such as Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4, and the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han said that Tay Ninh is increasingly asserting its position as a destination for domestic and foreign investors.

To date, the province has attracted more than 3,200 domestic investment projects with a total capital of approximately 800,000 billion VND and nearly 2,200 foreign investment projects with a total registered capital of over 27 billion USD.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, Le Van Han, affirmed that the province will stand alongside the business community, creating a transparent and favorable investment environment.

According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, with more than 37,000 enterprises, the private economic sector has become the core force, transforming investment resources into value through production and business, creating jobs, contributing to the budget, and expanding markets.

The business community also actively participates in social welfare, humanitarian activities, showing gratitude, poverty reduction, building new rural areas, schools, hospitals, charitable housing, and supporting young entrepreneurs.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, Le Van Han, affirmed that the province will continue to stand alongside the business community, creating a transparent and open investment environment; ensuring infrastructure and land are ready to welcome investors; and strengthening substantive dialogue to receive feedback, suggestions, and proposals from businesses in policy making and improving service quality.

"Creating opportunities for businesses to develop and serving them to succeed is the responsibility of the provincial government in this new phase," emphasized the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province.

At the gathering, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province presented the Labor Order and Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to collectives and individuals who have achieved outstanding results in production, business, and social welfare work.

On behalf of the President of Vietnam , the leaders of Tay Ninh province presented the Third-Class Labor Medal to Mr. Tran Van Quy, Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association.

Within the framework of the program, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on implementing improvements to the investment and business environment and supporting businesses in the period 2026-2030.

On this occasion, businessman Tran Van Quy, Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Trung Quy Textile and Garment Company, was awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal.

Trung Quy Textile Company is currently investing nearly $20 million in a factory complex in Hai Son Industrial Park, Tay Ninh province. The company focuses on transforming its production model towards green practices, applying water-saving solutions, treating and recycling wastewater, and developing products from organic and recycled fibers. At the ASEAN Economic Forum, the company was awarded the title of Top 10 ASEAN ESG Pioneer Enterprises 2026.
