Working alongside local authorities to promote and sell products.
In fact, to ensure the supply of goods, especially agricultural products, supermarket systems have not only strengthened connections with localities but also proactively implemented preferential policies.
WinCommerce Northern Region Operations Director Nguyen Thi Thuy Huong stated: "In the context of a recent sharp decline in the supply of vegetables on the market due to floods, in order to serve shopping needs with the criteria of 'Cheaper - Higher Quality,' WinMart has established direct, long-term partnerships with local agricultural product suppliers, thereby supporting businesses in stabilizing their output."
“By leveraging direct sourcing from suppliers and eliminating negotiation and intermediate transportation steps, WinMart maintains stable prices, and even lowers them with various promotional programs. WinMart's implementation of these programs not only helps consumers access new products at good prices but also supports businesses, cooperatives, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) entities in expanding their markets and enhancing their competitiveness,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Huong.

Regarding the collaboration with local authorities in promoting product consumption, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Director of Co.op Mart Ha Dong supermarket, stated: For many years, the Co.op Mart retail system has encouraged local agricultural product suppliers to bring their goods into the supermarket through policies prioritizing shelf space, display area, and product promotion activities at the point of sale.
Central Retail also implements a preferential approach to local agricultural products at its GO! stores. According to Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, Director of GO! Thang Long Supermarket: Approximately 50% of Central Retail's fresh food production is sourced from the regions where the supermarkets are located. To support suppliers and local markets, Central Retail purchases agricultural products directly from farmers and cooperatives with a 0% commission.
“However, to become a supplier for the Go! supermarket system, products must still meet food safety requirements, quality declaration documents, periodic testing, and traceability. The supermarket only signs supply agreements with businesses that have complete quality certifications, invoices, documents, and clear traceability. Therefore, in addition to enjoying many benefits, customers can be completely assured of product quality,” added Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang.
