After several rounds of competition, the final results were announced at 11:45 PM. Nguyen Quynh Anh was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2026. Trinh My Anh was awarded the first runner-up title.
The second runner-up was Emma Lê. The third and fourth runners-up were Nguyễn Diệu Huyền (Pháo) and Trịnh Thị Hồng Đăng, respectively.

The top 5 are no surprises.
This year's Miss Universe Vietnam was quite brief, lasting only about 10 days, and lacked the scale and investment of previous seasons. Audience interest in the competition and the contestants has decreased.
During the final night, the organizers announced the top 20, top 11, top 5, and top 3 in turn. The top 5 list held no surprises, consisting of names that had been predicted beforehand: Pháo; Trịnh Mỹ Anh; Hồng Đăng; Nguyễn Quỳnh Anh; and Emma Lê. Besides Pháo, who was a "newcomer," the other four girls had all previously competed in beauty pageants, some even winning titles.

In the Q&A round, the top 5 received random questions from a suitcase. Pháo was the first to enter the competition. She received the question: "Modern women have more opportunities but also face pressure. In your opinion, what is their biggest pressure today?"
Pháo replied: “In my opinion, it’s perfectly legitimate for us to have dreams and pursue our passions, and to choose how we want to live our lives. I always support what people do for themselves. People might see me as a very edgy rapper, only fit for a rap stage and not a beauty queen stage. Maybe today, I won’t achieve the title I wanted. However, I know that I am succeeding on my own path. And I hope all women can achieve what they want.”

Trinh My Anh received the question: “One woman is successful in her career but still chooses to dedicate most of her time to her family. Another woman might choose a career and not get married. In your opinion, on what criteria should society judge a woman's success?”
The beauty queen believes that a woman's greatest success is when she can completely choose the life she wants; when she feels that each day she wakes up is a joy, not the pressure of balancing both. "Career and family are both important, but they will always have different priorities at different times," she said.
Hong Dang was the next contestant to enter the Q&A round with the question, "In the age of social media, women are judged on their appearance and personal image. What would you do to maintain your self-confidence and self-worth?"
The contestant stated: “When we understand ourselves, when we have ambitions, dreams, and aspirations that we cherish and want to fulfill, we strive every day to reach what we desire and do everything to achieve that dream. That is what gives us confidence. Our outward appearance cannot be judged by perspectives that lack understanding. When we have a strong inner fire, each person will radiate confidence. That is the most wonderful beauty.”
The last two contestants to enter the Q&A round were Emma Lê and Nguyễn Quỳnh Anh. The Top 3 were announced at nearly 11 PM. Trịnh Mỹ Anh, Emma Lê, and Nguyễn Quỳnh Anh were the contestants who advanced to the Q&A round of the Top 3.
Top 3 awkward behaviors
The top 3 contestants entered the Q&A round with the same question: "If you were crowned Miss Universe Vietnam but only had one year to make a difference for women, what issue would you choose and where would you start?"
Trinh My Anh was the first contestant to perform her segment. The beauty queen shared that when she came to Miss Universe Vietnam 2026, she brought with her a passionate project called "One More Time," built from her own personal experiences.
“Not every girl has complete self-confidence when she steps out into society. And not everyone is ready to take another step, because after falling, they are afraid to get up and start again. I was like that, I also stumbled. But I was lucky to have many companions who always supported and encouraged me. That is why I am standing here once more, on the stage of Miss Universe Vietnam 2026,” she expressed.
After answering in Vietnamese, My Anh switched to speaking English but revealed limitations in her language skills, with inaccurate pronunciation and constant stuttering.
Emma Lê also chose to answer bilingually. The contestant stated: “I believe I can do it starting from the smallest things. If I can inspire charities to help women and children better access education and healthcare, I believe they will be able to build better lives for themselves.” However, Emma Lê's response was judged to be rambling and not directly addressing the core question.
Nguyen Quynh Anh was the last contestant to enter the competition. She affirmed that if she won the crown, she would use her voice and influence to support women and children in difficult circumstances, helping them have the opportunity to express themselves and live authentically.
"I want to open my own workshops to teach catwalk skills, while also listening to their stories and aspirations in life. These classes are not only aimed at training models, but more importantly, at helping women become confident, dare to express themselves, and live authentically," Quỳnh Anh emphasized.
The top 3 contestants' responses were awkward and unimpressive. After nearly 5 hours, the final results were announced. Nguyen Quynh Anh was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2026.
Nguyen Quynh Anh, born in 1999, was the first runner-up in Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 (the season in which Ky Duyen was crowned). With this title, it is currently unclear whether Quynh Anh will have the opportunity to compete internationally because the licensing authority is involved in a dispute with the Miss Universe organizing committee.
