The project to upgrade and connect the 3.4 km road from Quang Nghia suspension bridge to National Highway 18A recently received strong support from the people in land clearance. To widen the road from 3.5m to 7m, the Women's Union and other organizations in Hai Ninh commune promptly intervened, successfully persuading nearly 250 households to voluntarily donate approximately 3,400m² of land along with many structures and fences; many member families enthusiastically responded. A prime example is Ms. Do Thi Quan in Hamlet 4, Hai Ninh commune, who voluntarily dismantled her entire house – a three-room flat-roofed house with a corrugated iron roof – to make way for the construction unit.
Ms. Do Thi Quan expressed: "To allow the government to expand the public road to make it more spacious, clean, and beautiful, my family has decided to donate our entire three-room house with a flat roof and one room with a corrugated iron roof. Losing our old home is regrettable for everyone, but if sacrificing personal interests benefits our homeland and opens up a brighter future for our children and grandchildren, I find it completely worthwhile."
The people's cooperation not only facilitates the project's smooth implementation but also contributes to building increasingly modern, clean, and beautiful local transportation infrastructure for future generations.
According to Mr. Luong Tien Dung, Deputy Director in charge of the Service Supply Center of Hai Ninh commune, the commune highly appreciates the role of the Women's Union in disseminating information and mobilizing people to join hands in building their homeland. This unity has helped the locality complete land clearance work as quickly as possible to serve the construction process.

In 2026, Hai Ninh commune was allocated 257 billion VND by the city to invest in the construction of 21 projects, focusing mainly on school systems and rural roads. To ensure the smooth implementation of these projects, the Women's Union at all levels in the commune proactively propagated and mobilized members and the people to wholeheartedly support them. As a result, the movement spread strongly and received high consensus from the people in the area. Consequently, more than 300 households voluntarily donated over 7,000 m² of land along with many related architectural structures, contributing material value equivalent to more than 7 billion VND. This practical and timely contribution helped the locality overcome difficulties in land acquisition, ensuring that key projects were constructed on schedule.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Dong, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Hai Ninh commune, affirmed: The Women's Union at all levels always identifies female members and the local people as the core force participating in carrying out political tasks in the locality. In the coming time, the Union will continue to promote widespread propaganda and mobilization to every hamlet so that people understand the meaning of the movement; at the same time, commend and replicate exemplary examples and models of land donation for road construction in the past. From these positive individuals, the spirit of volunteerism for the community will continue to spread strongly to other villages, creating a combined strength to promote the homeland's continuous renewal.

Besides contributing to the development of transportation infrastructure, women's associations at all levels in the commune have also proactively replicated many practical environmental protection models. These activities not only raise community awareness but also transform hygiene into a daily, civilized habit for every citizen. The strong shift from awareness to action among the women has significantly contributed to changing the face of their homeland. This is a solid foundation that will help Hai Ninh commune soon complete the criteria for building a modern new rural area.
