On October 3rd, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had proposed including four commune-level People's Committees and one provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front agency for consideration and evaluation for commendation following the 90-day intensive land clearance program.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Van Hung commune has 2 projects that have completed 100% of their targets (Doc Da Trang Industrial Park, coastal road through Van Ninh); specifically, DT.651G reached 75.77%, an increase of approximately 75.8% during the peak period. Despite 126 out of 270 cases not yet receiving funding, the local authorities successfully persuaded 57 cases to hand over the land before receiving the money.
At the People's Committee of Tu Bong commune, the Co Ma high-end urban area project has reached approximately 71.41% completion, exceeding the approved plan target of 70%; the Van Thang resettlement area project, phase 1, has reached approximately 84.49% completion, exceeding the target of 80%.
At the People's Committee of Cam Lam commune, the Suoi Tan, Cam Tan, Cam Hoa, and Cam Thuong complex urban areas have all met or exceeded their respective targets of the Program;
At the Dien Tho Commune People's Committee, 100% of the land for the Dien Khanh inter-regional road project within the commune has been handed over.
In addition to the aforementioned commune-level organizations, the Department of Agriculture and Environment requests that the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front be considered and recognized for its achievements in coordinating propaganda and public relations in land clearance work.
For individuals, the Department of Agriculture and Environment proposes that the People's Committees of communes and relevant agencies and units base their selection of individuals directly responsible for advising and organizing implementation with concrete products and results on five groups of criteria (level of completion or exceeding assigned targets and milestones; volume and progress within 90 days, prioritizing continuous site preparation for construction; results of disbursement, compensation, support, resettlement and processing of eligible dossiers; effectiveness of communication, dialogue, mobilization, and handling of difficulties and obstacles; planning work, proactive spirit, coordination, data quality, commitment fulfillment and results of corrective actions after inspection).
The 90-day intensive land clearance program (from June 25th to September 22nd) is being implemented according to Program No. 7878/CTr-UBND dated June 19th, 2026, of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, in the context of the locality simultaneously having to focus on land clearance for many key, driving projects with very different scales and natures.
The aggregated results as of September 25, 2026, show that the Program has made significant progress compared to the start of the Program, but the level of progress is uneven among the project groups. As a result, 25 out of 40 projects have completed/exceeded their targets or are nearing completion.
