The activities aim to commemorate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 – October 20, 2026); and at the same time, to concretize Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW dated September 9, 2025 of the Politburo "On some breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health."
The program aims to contribute to the healthcare of its members, especially women in difficult circumstances; and to spread the spirit of mutual support, responsibility for the community, and the joint efforts of units, organizations, and individuals in caring for people's health.

Representatives of the Can Tho City Women's Union visited and presented gifts to members and women in difficult circumstances in My Tu commune.
According to Tran Thi Hang, Vice President of the Can Tho City Women's Union, providing healthcare for women in difficult circumstances is a practical way to protect the legitimate rights and interests of its members. Through this health check-up, the organizers hope to create opportunities for members and vulnerable women in the locality to detect health problems early, access appropriate treatment methods, thereby raising awareness of proactive disease prevention and building a healthy lifestyle.
This is also an opportunity for the City Women's Union to continue to promote its role in connecting and mobilizing the support of agencies, units, medical staff, and the community in caring for the lives and health of its members and women, contributing to the effective implementation of social welfare work in the area.

The organizers presented gifts to women in difficult circumstances in My Tu commune (Can Tho).
As part of this series of activities, on September 27th, the Organizing Committee provided medical examinations, dispensed medicine, and distributed 200 gifts to disadvantaged women in My Phuoc commune. This activity contributes to raising awareness of proactive health care, aiming to build a healthy community; and concretizes the goal of ensuring that from 2026, every citizen receives at least one free periodic medical check-up or screening per year.
