At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee provided information on the main contents of the competition, the race routes, and the safety measures for the athletes. The Mu Cang Chai commune stadium became vibrant with the participation of numerous athletes, locals, and tourists.

Earlier, at 6:00 AM on October 2nd, the organizers held the start of the 160km race, with 65 athletes participating. This is the longest distance of the competition, requiring endurance and the ability to conquer challenging terrain. At 4:00 PM on the same day, 300 athletes continued to compete in the 100km race.
