Hanoi leaders emphasized: In response to Vietnam Culture Day 2026, Hanoi city has directed the organization of activities to honor traditional cultural values, awaken patriotism, solidarity, national pride, and cultural, artistic, and sports activities suitable to the conditions of each locality so that the people can widely participate and enjoy the beautiful cultural values ​​of the nation.

At the launching ceremony for the "Vietnam Culture Day" 2026, held today at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, the "common home" of the community of 54 ethnic groups, the capital city demonstrated its determination and responsibility in preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of these ethnic groups. These values ​​are created by the artisans and people who are preserving and practicing the heritage, playing a key role in safeguarding the identity of each ethnic group and continuing the heritage through generations.

During the ceremony, Hanoi and 10 other provinces and cities signed a Coordination Regulation to continue supporting the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, providing them with more opportunities to practice and transmit their heritage and contribute to the shared cultural life of Vietnamese ethnic groups. Hanoi hopes to continue receiving the companionship and support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, central agencies, and other provinces and cities in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of Vietnam in Hanoi.

On October 3rd and 4th, the Vietnam National Village of Ethnic Cultures and Tourism will host exhibitions, performances, cultural exchanges, and experiences; showcasing the cultural spaces of Thang Long - Hanoi; and featuring 20 booths displaying and promoting traditional craft village products, OCOP products, and other typical products of Hanoi. Locals and tourists will have the opportunity to directly participate, learn about, and experience cultural values ​​alongside artisans, artists, and ethnic communities.

From November 21-24, the Vietnamese Culture Day program in Hanoi will take place in the pedestrian area around Hoan Kiem Lake.
