The job fair, held at 268 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Dien Hong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, provided students with the opportunity to connect with employers, learn about job requirements, submit applications, and participate in direct interviews. Opportunities offered ranged from internships and jobs for recent graduates to specialized positions within businesses.

According to a survey of participating businesses conducted by the organizing committee, the demand for human resources is concentrated in the fields of electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science and engineering, industrial management, and related areas. Through direct exchanges, businesses can assess the professional knowledge, skills, and suitability of candidates; students gain more information to choose jobs and prepare their application capabilities.

In his opening remarks, Professor Le Minh Phuong, Vice Rector of the University of Technology, emphasized that the job fair is part of the university's responsibility to students and society. Training high-quality human resources must be linked to the practical needs of businesses, the labor market, and the development of the country.
"This is also a place where schools listen to businesses to adjust and improve the quality of training; where businesses participate more deeply in the process of human resource development," Professor Le Minh Phuong shared.

A highlight of this year's event is the participation of 33 Japanese businesses, including companies from Hyogo, Shizuoka, Wakayama prefectures, and others. Following their first participation in 2025, the Hyogo prefecture delegation returned, and networking activities have been expanded to include businesses from other regions of Japan.
The recruitment areas of this group of businesses focus on mechanical engineering, precision machining, manufacturing engineering, automation, construction, electrical and electronics engineering, materials technology, energy, and geological engineering.
Of these, 16 companies in Hyogo Prefecture are expected to recruit approximately 30 engineers for positions such as architectural and bridge engineers, data programmers and supervisors, mechanical designers, electrical designers, information technology specialists, geologists, and construction managers.
According to information provided by the organizing committee in their press release, the basic salary ranges from 200,000 to 250,000 yen per month. Depending on each company's policy, employees may also receive support for housing, transportation, lunch, overtime pay, family allowances, and other insurance and welfare benefits as per regulations.
In addition to recruitment at the booths, the job fair includes in-person interviews, application submission, and CV checking and editing services through the CV Help Check program. Workshops with businesses help students understand recruitment requirements, career orientation, and prepare for the transition from the classroom to the workplace.
