According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, among the students who have confirmed their enrollment, 105,848 students are attending public high schools, accounting for 72.12%; 29,905 students are attending private high schools, accounting for 20.38%. The remaining 11,011 students, accounting for 7.50%, have chosen vocational training and other educational paths.

Based on enrollment targets, for the 2026-2027 school year, the entire city has 140,971 enrollment slots for 10th grade, with 135,753 students already enrolled, equivalent to 96.3% of the total number of 9th grade students.

Specifically, public high schools enrolled 89,789 students, reaching 108.4% of their target; autonomous public high schools reached 86.4%; jointly managed high schools reached 109.5%; and private high schools reached 73.9%.

At vocational and continuing education centers, 9,874 students enrolled out of 11,675 available slots, achieving 84.57% of the target; vocational schools under the Department of Education achieved 59% enrollment.

Educational institutions are focusing on organizing professional activities, fully implementing the 2018 General Education Program, and arranging appropriate subject combinations and study topics at the high school level.

In addition, educational institutions are strengthening professional group activities focused on lesson study, sharing learning materials, providing professional support, and coordinating teachers, subject classrooms, libraries, and shared equipment to meet practical needs.
