Hoa Chau and An Cuu districts are implementing free health check-ups for residents.

On the first day, 592 residents from Van An and Thuan Hoa neighborhoods received medical examinations at Hoa Chau Ward Health Station, facility 3.

Residents have their blood pressure, height, and weight measured, their BMI assessed, and receive examinations from specialists in internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, dentistry, and dermatology. The program also conducts blood and urine tests, chest X-rays, and screens for common chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

This health check-up campaign was implemented by Hoa Chau ward from October 3rd to 8th in 14 residential areas, with approximately 3,741 people belonging to priority groups receiving free health check-ups or screenings. The target group includes the elderly, people with disabilities, war veterans, poor and near-poor households, and people with chronic diseases who have not had a health check-up in 2026.

The examination results are updated in the Electronic Health Book, and people are supported in integrating and using the Electronic Health Book on the VNeID application, contributing to long-term health monitoring and management right from the grassroots level.

On the same day, the People's Committee of An Cuu Ward organized the first round of periodic health check-ups for 2026.

The program was held at the Dang Van Ngu Primary School branch, located at 75 Dang Van Ngu Street, with approximately 800 people receiving check-ups on the first day. Ms. Hoang Thi Nhu Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Committee of the ward, came to inspect and encourage the residents.

This health check-up campaign will be held from October 3rd to 5th, and is expected to examine approximately 2,500 people in the area. Priority will be given to the elderly, people with disabilities; those from poor and near-poor households; war veterans; and people with chronic diseases...

Residents receive general health check-ups and undergo blood sugar tests, urine tests, X-rays, etc., as prescribed by their doctors.
