Mrs. Kieu's family consists of five members. She is the primary breadwinner, while her husband is ill, unable to work, and has no income. The family owns no farmland. Given their difficult economic situation, building a sturdy house is a heavy burden for the family.

The house, which started construction on July 9, 2026 and was completed on September 22, 2026, has an area of ​​90m². The total construction cost was 230 million VND; of which the Dong Thap Branch of the Golden Heart Charity Fund contributed 60 million VND, and the family paid the remainder.

On the same day, the Provincial Labor Union handed over a "Trade Union Shelter" house to Ms. Phan Thi Tuyet Nhung, a member of the Trade Union of Dong Thap Community College, in Hoa Khanh Hamlet, Cao Lanh Ward. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union; Ms. Tran Thuy Trang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Cao Lanh Ward; along with representatives from the Cao Lanh Ward Trade Union, Dong Thap Community College, and the local government.

Ms. Nhung's family consists of four members, including two young children, born in 2023 and 2026. Her husband has an unstable income. Construction of the house began on June 26, 2026 and was completed on September 23, 2026, with a built area of ​​56m². The total construction cost was nearly 210 million VND, of which the Dong Thap Branch of the Golden Heart Charity Fund contributed 60 million VND, and the remaining funds were contributed by the family.

At the handover ceremonies, the leaders of the Provincial Labor Union congratulated the families on their new, spacious, and more stable homes; and acknowledged the efforts of the union members in overcoming difficulties and striving for a stable life. The leaders of the Provincial Labor Union hoped that the union members would continue to work with peace of mind, take good care of their families, uphold a sense of responsibility in their work, and actively participate in union activities. They also affirmed that the union organization would continue to care for, support, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, especially those facing difficulties with housing and living conditions.

Representatives of the families expressed their gratitude for the care and support from the Trade Union, the Party Committee, the local government, their workplaces, and other related organizations.

The handover of the two "Trade Union Shelter" houses further demonstrates the practical care and concern of the Dong Thap Trade Union organization for union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances; thereby contributing to helping union members stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work, and remain committed to the Trade Union organization.
