During the period 2022-2026, the Provincial Association for the Support of People with Disabilities, Poor Patients, and Children's Rights achieved and exceeded many of its set targets. Accordingly, the association mobilized over 33.8 billion VND to implement support programs, thereby assisting more than 15,790 people with disabilities, 134,665 poor patients, 4,200 orphans, and thousands of other beneficiaries. Specifically, the association awarded 1,391 scholarships; provided 157 wheelchairs and 200 bicycles; built 4 new charitable houses; and donated gifts to 7,790 poor people, patients, and people with disabilities. Simultaneously, it provided 344,620 free meals and supported medical examination and treatment costs for 14,430 patients…

During the 2026-2031 term, the Provincial Association for the Support of People with Disabilities, Poor Patients, and Children's Rights aims to mobilize resources ranging from 25 to 30 billion VND to carry out support and protection activities for vulnerable people in the province. This includes supporting the construction or renovation of at least 5 charitable houses, providing 50,000 free meals for poor patients; mobilizing resources for cataract surgery, heart surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, and disease screening for 1,000 disadvantaged patients. Simultaneously, the association will provide at least 100 assistive devices and award 1,000 scholarships to eligible individuals. The association also aims to build a digital database of beneficiaries to facilitate management, monitoring, and the implementation of appropriate support activities.

Speaking at the congress, Comrade Ngo Sach Thuc highly appreciated the achievements of the association during the past term. He also requested that the association continue to strengthen its organization, develop its membership, and effectively implement the targets set for the term.

The congress elected the Executive Committee of the Provincial Association for the Support of People with Disabilities, Poor Patients, and Children's Rights for the 2026-2031 term, consisting of 51 members. Mr. Le Huu Tho was re-elected as Chairman of the association.

On this occasion, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee presented the congress with a banner bearing the inscription "Unity - Compassion - Responsibility - Effectiveness"; the Vietnam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities awarded certificates of merit to the Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, Poor Patients and Children's Rights and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of protecting people with disabilities, poor patients and children's rights in the province during the period 2022 - 2026; at the same time, the association received sponsorships from agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province with a total value of 4.15 billion VND.
