On the afternoon of October 6th, a leader of the Quy Nhon Nam Ward Police said that the unit is verifying and handling the incident related to a video clip showing a woman being assaulted in the area.
Earlier that day, a video clip appeared on social media showing a young man assaulting a woman on the sidewalk of Hoang Van Thu Street, Quy Nhon Nam Ward.
According to initial verification results, the woman in the video is LTYN (born in 2002), and the person assaulting her is her husband, TVL (born in 1998), both residing in Quy Nhon Nam ward.
Ms. N. stated that on the evening of October 5th, she and her husband had a conflict and argued. Around 1 AM on October 6th, she was walking home to her mother's house on Hoang Van Thu Street when her husband assaulted her.
After the incident, Ms. N. got up and continued walking towards her mother's house. On the way, a patrol team from Quy Nhon Nam Ward Police noticed her unusual behavior and assisted her, taking her to the station. Ms. N. had bruises around both eyes and scratches on her forehead.
The Quy Nhon Nam Ward Police have worked with L., and are continuing to verify and consolidate the case file for processing according to regulations.
