The Ha Tinh Provincial Police organized large-scale fire fighting, rescue, and relief drills at various types of facilities: from industrial zones, factories with boilers, rooftop solar power systems to protected forests and residential areas. The drills focused on complex fire and explosion scenarios with a high risk of significant damage, requiring the application of modern fire fighting techniques and equipment, and close coordination among multiple forces.

Regular drills are of particular importance: they serve to test and evaluate the combat readiness, command capabilities, and mastery of high-tech equipment of the professional fire fighting police force; and to enhance the awareness and initial response skills of local fire fighting forces and the public, effectively implementing the "four on-the-spot" principle.

Mastering high-tech methods to handle incidents in industrial zones: Notably, two drills were conducted at the No. 1 coal-fired boiler area and at the Ha Tinh Brewery – which houses silo storage tanks and workshops equipped with rooftop solar power systems. This type of fire is new and highly dangerous due to the risk of explosion, structural collapse, electrical leakage from the solar panels, and fire spreading along oil pipelines and process pipelines. To handle it, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of the Provincial Police mobilized dozens of modern vehicles: 32m and 52m high-reach ladder trucks, foam fire trucks, rescue cranes, and high-capacity pumping station trucks. Multiple attack teams were deployed simultaneously from above and from the ground, using foam to cover and isolate oil and chemical fires, combined with high-pressure, long-range water spraying to cool and prevent fire spread. The drill involved professional fire fighting forces, on-site fire fighting units, medical personnel, electricity companies, and local authorities, demonstrating their ability to coordinate operations in realistic conditions. More than 8 fire trucks, ladder trucks, foam trucks, and dozens of officers and soldiers were mobilized, spraying a thick layer of white foam to isolate the fire and prevent it from spreading through the pipeline system.

The drill at Ha Tinh Brewery simulated a fire in a workshop with a rooftop solar power system and silo storage area. Firefighters used a 52-meter-high ladder truck to access the roof and deployed multiple fire hoses from various directions to control the flames.

Forest and Residential Area Firefighting Drills: In addition to industrial zones, the Ha Tinh Provincial Police also organized forest firefighting drills in mountainous districts and in residential areas, markets, and businesses. With a large area of protected forest and a high risk of fire during the dry season, the firefighting force coordinated with the Forest Protection Department and militia to deploy firebreaks, use forest fire trucks, and high-pressure water cannons to contain the fires.

In residential areas, the drills focused on skills in using portable fire extinguishers, escaping from smoky and toxic environments, and rescuing victims – the most practical skills to minimize damage during the "golden hour" when a fire first breaks out.

Through these drills, it can be affirmed that the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Ha Tinh province has gradually mastered the technology, enhanced its capabilities, and is ready to protect the peace and security of the people and the development of economic zones and industrial parks in the area.
