Many leaders and relatives of leaders of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Housing Development Joint Stock Company (Hodeco, HOSE: HDC) have registered to buy a total of 2 million HDC shares amidst the stock trading at significantly lower prices compared to a year ago.

According to published information, Mr. Doan Huu Thuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hodeco, registered to purchase 500,000 HDC shares between October 9th and November 7th. If the transaction is completed, Mr. Thuan's ownership stake will increase from nearly 9% to 9.21% of the charter capital.

Around the same time, Mr. Doan Huu Ha An - Mr. Thuan's son - registered to buy 300,000 HDC shares. After the transaction, his ownership stake is expected to increase from 0.97% to 1.1% of the charter capital.

Mr. Doan Huu Ha Vinh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of Hodeco, and also the son of Mr. Thuan, has registered to purchase 200,000 HDC shares. If he purchases the full registered amount, his ownership stake will increase from 1.89% to 1.98%.

Meanwhile, Mr. Le Viet Lien, a member of the Board of Directors and General Director, registered to purchase 1 million HDC shares, thereby increasing his ownership stake from 3.49% to 3.93% of the charter capital.

Thus, the total number of HDC shares that the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the General Director , and the Chairman's two children registered to buy in this round is 2 million units.

The move to register for the purchase took place shortly after Mr. Le Viet Lien sold HDC shares. Specifically, Mr. Lien sold a total of 700,000 shares, including 200,000 shares sold by the securities company on September 29th through forced liquidation and 500,000 shares sold as registered on October 2nd. Following these transactions, Mr. Lien's ownership stake decreased from 3.8% to 3.49% of the charter capital.

On the stock market, HDC shares closed the October 6th trading session at 10,100 VND per share. Over the past year, HDC's market value has decreased by approximately 62.83%, from 32,610 VND per share to its current price.

In another development, Hodeco's Board of Directors has approved in principle the plan to transfer the entire housing project east of 3/2 Street, commercially known as Hodeco Seavillage, with a total estimated value of VND 1,050 billion. Details regarding the transferee have not yet been disclosed by the company.

The project covers an area of ​​2.58 hectares and is located in Rach Dua Ward, Vung Tau City (formerly). According to the planning information, the project includes 132 commercial apartments, 795 tourist apartments, and 39 townhouses.

As of June 30, 2026, Hodeco's financial statements recorded 37.4 billion VND in work-in-progress production and business costs at this project.
