On the evening of October 6th, a major fire broke out at a factory on Khanh Binh 05 Street, Tan Hoa Khanh neighborhood, Tan Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to initial information, at around 8:30 PM on the same day, several employees discovered that the factory was on fire, so they shouted for help and used on-site fire extinguishing equipment to put out the fire, but without success.

The fire quickly intensified and spread throughout the factory complex. During the blaze, several loud explosions were heard inside. A column of black smoke rose dozens of meters into the air, visible from several kilometers away.

According to observations at the scene, the factory where the fire occurred has an area of ​​approximately 1,100 m². The area where the fire originated was identified as a paint storage area, with the main flammable materials being paint and chemicals.

Upon receiving the report, the authorities of Tan Hiep ward, in coordination with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City, quickly dispatched numerous officers, soldiers, and firefighting equipment to the scene and implemented fire extinguishing plans.

The Fire and Rescue Team of Area 32 dispatched 5 fire trucks, one command vehicle, and 34 officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire. The police force set up checkpoints on the road leading to the scene, facilitating access for firefighting vehicles while ensuring the safety of the surrounding area.

By approximately 10:30 PM, authorities were still implementing measures to control the fire. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being investigated and clarified by the relevant authorities.
