The groom's father was arrested for stealing a cow intended for his son's wedding feast.

According to The Daily Observer , the person arrested was Rafiqul Islam. Police seized the meat, hide, and head of the cow at the wedding venue.

According to local sources, Sohan's wedding, the son of Rafiqul, took place on October 2nd, and the reception was held the following day.

While the Rafiqul family was preparing for a wedding, a local man named Shahidul Islam followed the tracks of his lost cow and discovered that the tracks led directly to the Rafiqul house.

Shahidul and his nephew Anarul later realized that the slaughtered cow was their family's property. This led to a conflict between the two sides.

Rabbi, Rafiqul's second son, is alleged to have attacked Anarul with a sharp object, striking him in the head and causing serious injury.

Upon receiving the report, Gobindaganj police quickly arrived at the scene and arrested Rafiqul. Meanwhile, the groom, Sohan, and his younger brother, Rabbi, had already left the scene.

Mahfuz Alam, the police chief of Gobindaganj station, confirmed that the incident has been documented and authorities are continuing to search for the remaining suspects.
