Last week, the VN-Index fell 47.4 points to 1,737.71 points. The average trading volume on the HoSE reached approximately 668 million shares per session, with an average transaction value of 15,476 billion VND per session. Similarly, the HNX-Index also lost 5.46 points and closed at 266.75 points.
On the HoSE exchange, foreign investors sold a net 184.8 million units, with a net selling value of over 4,945 billion VND. On the HNX exchange, foreign investors bought a net 0.4 million units, with a net buying value of over 46 billion VND.
On the UPCoM market, foreign investors bought a net 55.9 million units, with a net purchase value of over 3,237 billion VND. Thus, during the trading week from September 28th to October 2nd across the entire market, foreign investors sold a net 128.5 million units, with a total net selling value of over 1,662 billion VND.
Continuous buying
Ho Chi Minh City Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company (stock code: CII) has just purchased 800,000 PC1 shares of PC1 Group Joint Stock Company, increasing its ownership to 6.13% of the charter capital. Similarly, CII's related entity, CII Trading and Investment Company Limited, has purchased an additional 500,000 PC1 shares, raising its ownership to 8.08% of the charter capital.

Thus, the CII group purchased an additional 1.3 million PC1 shares, increasing their total ownership to 14.21% of PC1's charter capital. Besides the CII group, VietinBank Capital also became a major shareholder of PC1 by purchasing an additional 14.1 million PC1 shares, raising its ownership to 7.54% of the charter capital.
CII Group and VietinBank Capital have been continuously buying PC1 shares amidst the company's announcement of a plan to issue shares to pay dividends for 2025. Previously, PC1 outlined a plan to increase its charter capital through three methods: issuing shares to pay dividends for 2025, offering shares for sale, and issuing ESOP shares.
Under the 2025 dividend payment plan, PC1 will issue nearly 62 million shares with a total par value of nearly VND 617 billion, equivalent to 15% of the total outstanding shares.
In addition, PC1 plans to offer up to 74 million shares, raising a total of nearly 1,481 billion VND. The offering is expected to take place in 2026.
PC1 plans to allocate capital from the offering to fund ongoing energy projects (nearly VND 125 billion), new renewable energy projects (VND 306 billion), residential real estate (VND 120 billion), and other purposes (nearly VND 930 billion).
Regarding the 2026 ESOP issuance plan, PC1 plans to issue over 12 million shares, with a total par value of over 123 billion VND. The total amount raised from the ESOP will be used to supplement PC1's working capital.
If all three capital increases are completed, the number of outstanding shares of PC1 is expected to increase from over 411 million shares to 559 million shares, corresponding to an increase in charter capital from nearly VND 4,113 billion to over VND 5,590 billion.
In late July, PC1 Group elected Ms. Trinh Khanh Linh (27 years old) as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the 2025-2030 term, replacing her father, Mr. Trinh Van Tuan, the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of PC1.
The asking price is higher than the market price.
KAFI Securities Joint Stock Company (stock code: KAI) announces the offering of 125 million shares, at a price of VND/share.
Previously, KAFI Securities approved a plan to offer 125 million shares to the public at a minimum price of VND 15,000 per share to raise VND 1,875 billion. The purpose of raising capital is to supplement working capital for margin lending and securities trading.

KAI shares began trading on UPCoM on September 9th with a reference price of 15,000 VND per share. Currently, the market price of KAI is 11,800 VND per share, a decrease of 22% compared to the first trading session. Therefore, the upcoming IPO price of KAI will be 27% higher than the market price.
Mr. Le Viet Lien, General Director of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Housing Development Joint Stock Company (Hodeco - stock code: HDC), sold 700,000 HDC shares out of a registered sale of 500,000 shares to reduce his ownership to 3.49% of the charter capital. Of these, 200,000 shares were sold by a securities company through forced liquidation, while Mr. Lien proactively sold the registered 500,000 shares. Over the past year, HDC shares have fallen 68%, from 32,610 VND to 10,350 VND per share.
VietinBank Capital purchased 2 million HAH shares of Hai An Transport and Loading & Unloading Joint Stock Company, increasing its ownership to 18.24% of the charter capital. Previously, VietinBank Capital had purchased 10.37 million HAH shares on July 30th. On September 23rd, VietinBank Capital purchased 15 million HAH shares, raising its ownership to 17.2% of the capital.
Conversely, at the end of September, GELEX Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: GEX) sold more than 9.7 million HAH shares to reduce its ownership to 0% of the charter capital.
