'Three-No Companion' spreads a shield against drug abuse among students and young people.

The "Three No's Companion Club" model carries the message "No trying drugs - No using drugs - No aiding and abetting drugs." The Club's Steering Committee includes representatives from the Dong Hoa Ward Youth Union, the Dong Hoa Ward Police, and the Management Board of the dormitory complexes.

According to Bui Le Dong Truc, Secretary of the Dong Hoa Ward Youth Union, the model aims to strengthen coordination among forces in drug prevention and awareness campaigns; provide legal knowledge; support and accompany young people and students; and contribute to building a safe, healthy, civilized, and drug-free dormitory environment.

"Through this series of activities, the youth of Dong Hoa continue to affirm their role in accompanying young people and students, contributing to spreading a positive, healthy lifestyle and responsibility towards themselves and the community," Ms. Truc said.

As part of the program, the Dong Hoa Ward Youth Union donated 5 million VND to the "Student Shared Kitchen," contributing additional resources to support students facing difficulties.

At the same time, 1,000 youth union members, young people, and students were educated and equipped with knowledge about identifying drugs and addictive substances, their harmful effects, consequences, legal regulations, and proactive prevention skills.

Immediately after the program, members of the Youth Union of Dong Hoa ward, along with university students, continued their "Volunteer Saturday" campaign, carrying out environmental sanitation, collecting waste, and beautifying the landscape along the streets and areas within the Ho Chi Minh City National University Urban Area.

This is one of the activities aimed at commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's Traditional Day (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2026), while also promoting the pioneering and volunteer spirit of young people in building a green, clean, beautiful, and civilized living environment.
