Mr. Lam Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, and Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council of An Giang province, presided over the conference.

On the morning of October 6th, the Executive Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to hear reports on preparations for the APEC 2027 Conference in Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone and to consider and give opinions on several issues within its authority. The meeting was held in person and online in combination with the Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone's connection point.

Mr. Lam Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, and Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council of An Giang province, presided over the conference.

Concluding the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, Lam Minh Thanh, requested the development of a GRDP growth scenario for the fourth quarter of 2026, broken down by month, clearly defining tasks, timelines, and responsibilities for implementation.

From now until the end of the year, the province will focus on promoting public investment and key projects, striving to achieve a GRDP growth rate of 10.71% or higher for the whole year of 2026.

Mr. Lam Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, delivered the concluding remarks at the conference.

At the conference, the Provincial Party Committee discussed the progress of implementing tasks, projects, and works serving APEC 2027 in the Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone and agreed on the principles for four areas.

The Provincial Party Committee unanimously agreed on the following four points:

- Granting of Investment Registration Certificate for the APEC High-Class Hotel, Commercial, Service and Tourism Building Project in accordance with Resolution No. 41/2026/QH16.

- Approval of the investment policy and approval of the investor for the Phu Quoc Iconic Tower and Commercial, Service and Tourism Complex Project.

- Adjusting the Provincial Road Project DT.975 (section from DT.973 - Phu Quoc Airport - DT.975 - DT.973), adding a service road.

- Regulations on providing bonuses and remuneration to experts, lecturers, teachers, students, and trainees who achieve high performance in teaching and learning in An Giang province.
