The competition was held at the Provincial Labor Culture House and Annora Vocational Education Center Co., Ltd.
Of the 27 competing teams, the garment industry had 13 teams and the footwear industry had 14 teams. The teams were selected from the grassroots level, comprising outstanding union members and workers with professional skills and practical experience in production.
In the competition, contestants directly practice specialized procedures specific to their respective industries.
In the leather footwear industry, the teams perform five stages: leather cutting, double-needle heel sewing, core stitching, lace threading, and form fitting.
For the garment making category, contestants will practice sewing two short-sleeved woven men's shirts according to the materials provided by the Organizing Committee.
The competition was conducted seriously and objectively.
The competition provides an opportunity for production workers to test their skills, exchange experiences, and encourage them to proactively learn and improve their abilities to meet the increasingly high demands of businesses. It also serves as a basis for workers to enhance their professional value, improve their income, and enhance their living standards.
