One of the outstanding achievements is that the commune has completed the scoring of the 2025 Digital Transformation Assessment Index, and simultaneously compiled the self-assessment results to determine the digital transformation index in the area. Document processing continues to be promoted in the electronic environment. 100% of officials and employees in departments and units digitally sign 100% of outgoing documents, except for confidential documents; 100% of incoming documents are processed entirely in the digital environment, contributing to shortening processing time and improving operational efficiency.
According to Pham Van Thao, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ung Thien commune, the commune has reviewed the data on investment in information technology infrastructure; received and handed over 54 computers and 2 photocopiers supported by the city. The dedicated data transmission system is ensured to be stable, serving the activities of the government and the deployment of common software. The commune also implements the construction, application, maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System according to the national standard TCVN ISO 9001:2015 and the regulations in Decision No. 19/2014/QD-TTg.
Digital transformation in Ung Thien commune is gradually expanding from administrative agencies to the community. The commune is promoting the integration of social security accounts into the VNeID application. To date, 727 officials and employees and 1,238 resident accounts have been integrated, facilitating access to social security policies in the digital environment. Notably, the commune has collaborated with Viettel to organize mobile support campaigns in villages, guiding residents to verify mobile phone subscriber information and install personal digital signatures on the VNeID application, gradually forming a habit of using digital utilities, especially in handling administrative procedures. The commune aims to have 60% of adult residents with personal digital signatures by 2026.
In the coming period, Ung Thien commune will continue to implement the 100-day intensive campaign to carry out key tasks on digital transformation according to the city's plan; develop a digital transformation plan for 2026; organize activities to celebrate World Innovation Day 2026; propose key tasks with widespread impact to be included in the 2026 work program of the Steering Committee 57; register for connection to the dedicated data transmission network (TSLCD) for the period 2026-2030, creating an infrastructure foundation to serve the construction of a digital government, improving the quality of service to the people, aiming to build a modern, effective, and people-centered digital government.
