On October 3rd, Lien Minh commune organized the Final Round of the first "Lien Minh Robotics Arena" competition in 2026, with the theme "Lien Minh - Creating Technology - Reaching for the Future," aiming to create a science and technology playground for students of all levels, and also in response to the series of activities celebrating National Digital Transformation Day on October 10th.

The competition took place at Lien Minh B Primary School with the participation of 84 teams from 5 preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools in the area, including 20 preschool teams. Teams used robots and tablets to perform tasks on a simulated course, completing two rounds of runs, with results calculated based on total points and competition time.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Nguyen Huu Minh, Vice Chairman of the Lien Minh Commune People's Committee and Head of the competition organizing committee, stated that the locality recognizes that the development of science, technology, and digital transformation must be linked to specific activities, with education being a crucial foundation.

"Investing in education and technology is investing in the future of our homeland," said Mr. Nguyen Huu Minh.
The competition is organized within the framework of implementing Plan No. 38/KH-UBND dated February 3, 2026, of the People's Committee of Lien Minh Commune on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in the commune; and Plan No. 35-KH/DU dated February 13, 2026, of the Party Committee of Lien Minh Commune on implementing Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of education and training in the period 2025-2030.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Minh stated that introducing robotics into schools helps students become familiar with technology through hands-on activities. "Early and proper access to technology will equip children with confidence, transforming them into proactive, creative, and capable digital citizens in the future," he emphasized.

Along with the Robotics Arena Finals, the program at the Alliance also includes activities such as experiencing VR360 virtual reality space and using applications to learn about Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW.
The commune also commended and rewarded collectives and individuals who achieved success in digital transformation in 2026 and acknowledged the support of professional assistance units and sponsors of the competition.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 First Prizes, 3 Second Prizes, 9 Third Prizes, 15 Consolation Prizes, and 54 Promising Prizes across three categories for preschool, primary, and secondary school students.
